  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
Wet Ingredients
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/4 cup pure maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup white chocolate chips
  • 1 tablespoon maple extract (optional)
Decoration
  • to taste sprinkles or crushed nuts for decoration (optional)

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Mix dry ingredients; set aside.
  2. Cream butter and sugars until fluffy. Add egg, maple syrup, vanilla, and maple extract; mix well.
  3. Gradually add dry ingredients; fold in white chocolate chips. Drop dough onto baking sheet.
  4. Bake 10-12 minutes until edges are golden. Cool, then dip half in melted white chocolate.
  5. Decorate with sprinkles or nuts. Let chocolate set before serving. Enjoy!
