Vegan Banana Bread Cinnamon Rolls: No Yeast Recipe

Ingredients
  

Dough
  • 1 ⅓ cups self-rising flour
  • 1 ⅓ cups overripe bananas about 3 large bananas
  • ¼ cup vegan butter melted
Filling
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 2 tablespoons coconut sugar
  • ¼ cup nuts optional, chopped
Glaze
  • ½ cup powdered sugar
  • 1-2 tablespoons plant milk for glazing

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (180°C). Line a 9-inch dish and spray with oil.
  2. Mash bananas until smooth. Mix with melted vegan butter and flour to form a dough.
  3. Roll dough into a rectangle, spread with vegan butter, sprinkle cinnamon and sugar, add banana slices and nuts.
  4. Roll tightly from the long edge, cut into 9 pieces, and place in dish.
  5. Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden. Cool slightly and drizzle with glaze made from powdered sugar and plant milk.

Notes

Ensure bananas are very ripe for best flavor and sweetness.
