Ingredients
  

Fruits
  • 1 piece fresh pineapple peeled and chopped
  • 16 ounces fresh strawberries hulled and halved
  • 5-6 pieces ripe kiwis peeled, sliced into rounds, then quartered
  • 1 pint fresh blueberries rinsed
  • 2 cups red grapes stems removed
  • 2 cups green grapes stems removed
  • 0.25 cup brown sugar (or honey, agave, or maple syrup)
  • 3-4 tablespoons fresh orange juice
  • 1 teaspoon orange zest
  • 1 teaspoon lemon zest
Garnish
  • to taste Fresh mint for garnish

Method
 

  1. Wash all fruit thoroughly and pat dry.
  2. Prepare fruit: chop pineapple, halve strawberries, slice and quarter kiwis, rinse blueberries, remove stems from grapes.
  3. Whisk together brown sugar, orange juice, and zests to make dressing.
  4. Combine all fruit in a large bowl, pour dressing over, and gently toss.
  5. Chill for 30 minutes, garnish with mint, and serve.

Notes

Use fresh, ripe fruit for the best flavor.
