  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 large egg
  • 1.5 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a muffin tin.
  2. Mix mashed bananas, sour cream, sugars, melted butter, vanilla, and egg.
  3. Whisk together flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt.
  4. Combine dry ingredients with wet mixture; fold in chocolate chips.
  5. Spoon batter into muffin cups; bake 18-20 minutes.
  6. Cool muffins before serving.

Notes

For extra flavor, add a handful of chopped nuts.
