Ingredients
  

Dried ingredients
  • 3 cups old fashioned rolled oats
  • 1 cup apple sauce or mashed banana
  • 1 cup peanut butter or other nut butter
  • ¼ cup ground flaxseed
  • ¼ cup chia seeds
  • ¼ cup pure maple syrup
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 325°F (160°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Mix all ingredients in a bowl until well combined.
  3. Shape into 12 balls and flatten into cookie shapes on the sheet.
  4. Bake for 15 minutes, then cool and serve.
  5. Store in an airtight container for up to 7 days.

Notes

For added flavor, try adding chocolate chips or nuts.
