Method
- Crush Oreo cookies into fine crumbs.
- Mix Oreo crumbs and softened cream cheese until well combined.
- Roll mixture into 1-inch balls and place on parchment paper.
- Chill for at least 30 minutes.
- Melt chocolate candy coating, thinning with shortening if needed.
- Dip each chilled ball into the melted chocolate and place back on parchment paper.
- Pipe football laces onto each truffle before the chocolate sets.
- Let the chocolate set completely.
- Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
Notes
For easier dipping, use dipping tools or forks to coat the Oreo balls in chocolate.
