Method
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet.
- Cream butter and powdered sugar until fluffy, then mix in vanilla.
- Add flour and salt, mix until dough forms. Fold in sprinkles if desired.
- Shape dough into 1-inch balls, place on sheet, flatten slightly.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes until edges are golden. Cool before serving.

For extra flavor, add a pinch of almond extract or lemon zest.
