  • 1 box brownie mix (18.3 ounces)
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup chocolate chip cookie dough store-bought or homemade
  • White cookie icing

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a baking sheet.
  2. Prepare brownie mix according to package directions, using oil, water, and eggs.
  3. Pour brownie batter onto the prepared baking sheet, spreading evenly.
  4. Drop spoonfuls of cookie dough evenly over the brownie batter.
  5. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with fudgy crumbs.
  6. Let cool completely.
  7. Cut into football shapes using a knife or cookie cutter.
  8. Decorate with white cookie icing to resemble football laces.

Notes

For easier cutting, chill the brookies in the refrigerator for a short time after they cool.
