Ingredients
  

Bananas
  • 3 pieces ripe bananas, mashed
  • 1/3 cup melted butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • Pinch salt
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon (optional)
  • 1/2 cup chopped nuts or chocolate chips (optional)

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a loaf pan.
  2. Mash bananas, then stir in melted butter, sugar, vanilla, and salt.
  3. Add baking soda, then fold in flour and cinnamon.
  4. Mix in nuts or chocolate chips if desired, then pour batter into pan.
  5. Bake for 50-60 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean. Cool before slicing.

Notes

For extra flavor, add a dash of nutmeg or a handful of chocolate chips.
