Method
- Place roast in slow cooker.
- Sprinkle with steak seasoning and Italian herb mix.
- Add beef broth, carrots, potatoes, onion, and celery.
- Season with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.
- Cook on low for 8 hours.
- Mix cold water and cornstarch to form a slurry. Add to slow cooker during the last 30 minutes to thicken the gravy.
Notes
For a richer flavor, sear the roast before placing it in the slow cooker.
