Easy Banana Bread Recipe – Just Like Grandma’s

Ingredients

  • 3 ripe bananas bananas, mashed
  • 1/3 cup melted butter
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • Pinch salt
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1 large egg, beaten
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Mix mashed bananas with melted butter, then add baking soda, salt, sugar, egg, and vanilla. Stir in flour.
  3. Pour batter into a greased 4x8 inch loaf pan.
  4. Bake for 60-65 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean.
  5. Cool in pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to wire rack.

Notes

Use very ripe bananas for best flavor and sweetness.
