Method
- Brown meat in skillet, drain grease.
- Transfer meat to crockpot.
- Add onion, carrots, and celery to crockpot.
- Stir in thyme, rosemary, broth, peas, corn, and Worcestershire sauce.
- Season with salt and pepper.
- Cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours.
- Boil potatoes until tender.
- Drain and mash potatoes with milk, butter, salt, and pepper.
- Spread mashed potatoes over meat mixture in crockpot.
- Cook on high for 30 minutes.
- Serve hot.
Notes
For a richer flavor, use lamb instead of beef. You can also add other vegetables like mushrooms or green beans.
