Method
- Preheat oven to 175°C and line a loaf pan with parchment paper.
- Melt butter, mash bananas, and mix with buttermilk. Combine dry ingredients, add wet mixture, then eggs, mixing until smooth.
- Mix melted butter, brown sugar, and cinnamon for filling.
- Pour half of batter into pan, swirl with cinnamon filling, add remaining batter, and swirl again.
- Bake for 50 minutes, cool, then drizzle with glaze made from powdered sugar and boiling water.
Notes
Ensure not to overmix the batter for a tender loaf.
