Ingredients
  

Bananas
  • 3 pieces ripe bananas, mashed
  • 1/2 cup melted butter
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 large egg, beaten
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • Pinch salt
  • 1.5 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a loaf pan.
  2. Mix mashed bananas with melted butter in a bowl.
  3. Add sugar, beaten egg, and vanilla; stir well.
  4. Mix in baking soda and salt, then fold in flour until just combined.
  5. Gently fold in chocolate chips and pour batter into pan.
  6. Bake for 60 minutes, cool for 10 minutes before removing from pan.

Notes

Use ripe bananas for best flavor and mash thoroughly for even texture.
