  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 medium onion, diced
  • 2 bell peppers bell peppers (any color), sliced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup uncooked jasmine rice
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • to taste Salt
  • for garnish Chopped green onions

Method
 

  1. Cook jasmine rice in beef broth until tender, then fluff and set aside.
  2. Sauté diced onion in olive oil until translucent, then add ground beef and cook until browned. Drain excess fat.
  3. Add sliced peppers and minced garlic; cook for 5 minutes until peppers soften.
  4. Mix cooked rice into the beef and vegetable mixture. Add soy sauce, Worcestershire, black pepper, paprika, and salt; stir well and heat through.
  5. Serve in bowls, garnished with chopped green onions. Enjoy!

Notes

For extra flavor, add a splash of sesame oil or a squeeze of lime before serving.
