Ingredients
  

Dough
  • 2 pieces ripe bananas, mashed
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 egg egg
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup chopped nuts (optional)
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tablespoon milk (for icing)

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a baking dish.
  2. Mix mashed bananas, melted butter, sugar, vanilla, and egg until combined.
  3. Add baking soda, salt, and flour; stir until just combined.
  4. Roll dough into a rectangle, spread cinnamon-sugar mixture, then roll and slice.
  5. Place rolls in dish, let rise 30 minutes, then bake 25-30 minutes.
  6. Mix powdered sugar with 1 tablespoon milk for icing, drizzle over warm rolls.

Notes

For extra flavor, add chopped nuts before rolling.
