- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease and flour a 15×10-inch pan.
- Mix sugar, sour cream, softened butter, and eggs until smooth. Add mashed bananas and vanilla.
- Stir in flour, baking soda, salt, and walnuts if using. Spread into pan and bake 20-25 minutes.
- Melt butter for frosting until browned. Whisk in powdered sugar, vanilla, and milk. Spread over cooled brownies.
Notes
Ensure not to overbake for moist brownies. Browned butter adds a rich flavor.
