Balsamic Honey Vinaigrette

Ingredients
  

Sauce Base
  • 1 tablespoon dijon mustard
  • 1-2 tablespoons honey more or less depending on sweetness
  • 1/4 cup balsamic vinegar
  • 1 clove garlic (minced)
  • 1/4 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon fresh cracked black pepper
Olive Oil
  • 1/2 cup extra virgin olive oil

Method
 

  1. Combine mustard, honey, balsamic vinegar, garlic, salt, and pepper in a jar.
  2. Shake or stir until fully blended.
  3. Add olive oil and whisk or shake again until emulsified.
  4. Use immediately or store in the refrigerator.
  5. Enjoy on salads or as a marinade!

Notes

Adjust honey for sweetness and store leftovers in a sealed container.
